Pattern 5b - The Central European Bow   Period - 1250 - 1600   Length - 28 - 32 inches


This is a typically German or Swiss bow, but could also be found in France, Northern Italy, Hungary or any other area closely situated to the German principalities. The bow was seen from the thirteenth through the seventeenth centuries.

The bow comes with a tapered head, vaneer top with encluded quarrel rest. Side plates are of wood veneer. If you want the bow to closely represent those of a particular period, we can adjust the proportions and option to give it the best detailing.
